We start this entry with beauty, then we show the muscle, then the brains ... Joy (21) and Charity (23), the young roses among the young thorns of the Calvin Gardner family. Charming presence in the home, school, print room and churches who help Mrs. Gardner keep everything clean and in order in the home and assist keeping everyone well fed. They are a godly example of virtue and grace, in my unbiased opinion.

David (17, ALMOST 18) and Daniel (19), as you can see, are two strappling young men. They do most of the printing together and are wonderful helpers in the work of the Lord lending a voice, muscle, witty remark, a hand everywhere there is a need.

On April 21, 2005, the 25 lb propane tank, feeding the kitchen stove, caught on fire (faulty valve?) while fixing lunch for the fellowship we were to have following services. It wasn't long before the entire wooden structure was consumed in flames. Everything but personal documents and a few belongings were lost. Here, Jonas, member of the young church and prospective pastor, sits among the ruins. He is smiling since he believes God will be faithful to supply all the needs to rebuild. Jonas lives here with his parents, brother and sister. As you view the following pictures, you will see that the Lord is good and faithful to His Word providing every need, be it through donations of clothes, used appliances, building materials and labor; offerings from the three other mission works in the region or through several churches in the USA. The Lord is being praised for His wonderful works among the children of men.

On Feb 8, 2005 four brethren from Dracena, São Paulo and two brethren from Presidente Prudente followed the Lord in obedience by baptism. Bro Calvin Gardner administered the ordinance under the authority of the Wooster Baptist Temple. We had a service before the baptism at Bro Roberto's house with singing.
